IDAHO Statute: Idaho Code 16.02.08.201 (2003)

Idaho does NOT change sex on the birth certificate. A bill to permit the changes was rejected by the Idaho legislature. Idaho will, however, change the name on the birth certificate. Details on how to accomplish this can be found at the state website: www2.state.id.us/dhw/vital_stats/appmenu.html
