Look for Tucson parents Jose and Lizette Trujillo and Amy D’Arpino as they stand up with other parents for transgender rights and the rights of transgender youth. You may also knows a couple of familiar faces among the youth pictures shown. Thank you Lizette Jose Amy for representing Tucson in such an outstanding fashion !
Once again, SAGA will be hosting our traditional Transgiving feast on Thanksgiving Day.
Join us Thursday, Nov. 22, from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Cornerstone Fellowship for a traditional Thanksgiving meal with our trans family. (Everyone one is welcome, trans or not!)
This year SAGA is holding its own Transgender Day or Remembrance observance on November 20, and we are returning to our previous venue in Catalina Park.
The observance will honor the victims of violence against transgender, non-binary and other gender nonconforming people around the world.
Speakers and other parts of the program to be determined.
If anyone has any questions or ideas, or wants to help in other ways, please contact Abby Louise Jensen here or by email at abby @ sagatucson.org (remove the spaces when you email).
