It’s picnic time again!
Sunday, March 31, 2019 at 12 PM – 4 PM
Join us for food and good times, as we celebrate community on Transgender Day Of Visibility.
This year we are returning to Reid Park which gives us a larger Ramada, a playground, and great access to multiple SunTran routes.
We will be at Ramada #20, entrance is off of Country Club, near the bandshell.
Bring yourself, your friends, your family, and a dish to pass if you’re so inclined.
SAGA will be providing the main course (burgers, dogs, veggie burgers), plenty of water, and Brandon the grill master. Don’t miss it!
Once again, SAGA will be hosting our traditional Transgiving feast on Thanksgiving Day.
Join us Thursday, Nov. 22, from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Cornerstone Fellowship for a traditional Thanksgiving meal with our trans family. (Everyone one is welcome, trans or not!)
This year SAGA is holding its own Transgender Day or Remembrance observance on November 20, and we are returning to our previous venue in Catalina Park.
The observance will honor the victims of violence against transgender, non-binary and other gender nonconforming people around the world.
Speakers and other parts of the program to be determined.
If anyone has any questions or ideas, or wants to help in other ways, please contact Abby Louise Jensen here or by email at abby @ sagatucson.org (remove the spaces when you email).
