This group is for anyone who is struggling with the gender binary, i.e. man/woman and/or male/female. Some of us identify outside of the sex and gender binary such as: gender queer, gender fluid, asexual, agender, neutrois, or just plain queer. It does not matter how you identify, or if you are in process of trying to find an identity which fits, this may be the group for you. The format will be peer led confidential discussions about any all things related to gender identity or the lack there of. Friends, family, and allies are always welcome.

Desert Partners meetings are open to anyone who is in a close relationship in which at least one of the partners is trans*, genderqueer, etc., (e.g., partners, parents, children, close friends). Topics for discussion will be chosen by meeting members. Please remember, SAGA support groups are peer-facilitated and are not professional therapy sessions. These meetings are not intended as couples therapy, but rather as a supportive space where people can gain a better understanding from one another of the ways gender diversity can impact relationships.
